Community Gardens Cleanup

Ansonia-Seymour-Oxford Rotary will work in concert with all three local town community gardens and organize a spring cleanup to get the gardens ready for the growing season as its Rotary Day of Service.

Branford Pollinator Garden

Branford Rotary will provide a peaceful meditation space for town residents through a newly created Pollinator Garden on the Branford Town Green for the migration of monarch butterflies as its Rotary Day of Service.

Veteran Vegetable Gardens

Cheshire Rotary will build, install and maintain a series of community vegetable gardens for veterans and cook for families of cancer patients at the Yale Ronald McDonald House for its Rotary Day of Service.

Assisting Camp Hazen

Chester Rotary will work to enhance camp facilities by providing maintenance of the area assets and fixing and improving the infrastructure at Camp Hazen in Chester CT for its Rotary Day of Service.

Highland Park Cleanup 

Danbury Rotary will work with the community and the Danbury Town Parks and Recreation office to clean up Danbury Highland Playground Park and other parks in the community for its Rotary Day of Service.

Clean-up Darien Land Trust

Darien Rotary will clean up trails, woodlands, meadows, and coastline of the Darien Land Trust for its Rotary Day of Service. The Land Trust preserves and restores 220 acres of open space in the Community.

Flags for Heroes

Derby-Shelton Rotary will set up over 200 flags on the River Walk to celebrate Community Heroes for their courage, achievements, noble qualities, and their practice of random acts of kindness for our Rotary Day of Service.

Cleanup at Walnut Beach

Devon Rotary will work with the community and the Town of Devon Parks and Recreation office to clean up the Pavilion and surrounding areas at Walnut Beach for its Rotary Day of Service.

Habitat for Humanity Build

East Hampton Rotary will assist Habitat for Humanity in cleaning up a home site, landscaping the exterior surroundings, and installing and painting the interior trim, doors, and walls for its Rotary Day of Service.

East Haven Food Drive

East Haven Rotary will encourage and accept donations of food for the East Haven Food Pantry Food to provide deprived East Haven community members with access to food for its Rotary Day of Service.

Pollinator Pathways

Fairfield Rotary will enhance the Pollinator Pathways at the Fairfield Museum and History Center with native plants and hold a tree planting ceremony in honor of Rotarian George Markley for its Rotary Day of Service.

Ice Cream Social

Greenwich Rotary will conduct an Ice Cream Social and serve ice cream and cookies for the residents of Nathaniel Witherell and share the extensive work the club executes in the community for its Rotary Day of Service.

Painting Griswald House Barn

Guilford Rotary will come together with the community to paint the exterior of the barn that sits on the property of the Historic Thomas Griswold House for its Rotary Day of Service.

Hamden Cleanup

Hamden Rotary along with the Quinnipiac Rotaract and Hamden High Interact will work with community volunteers to clean up Hamden by removing trash and debris from our streets for its Rotary Day of Service.

Town Landscape & Cleanup

Madison Rotary will plant trees, shrubs, and flowers to beautify the new Community Dog Park and work with Vista Rotaract to clean up the Trails at our beloved Bauer Park for our Rotary Day of Service.

Curtis Home Improvements

Meriden Rotary will recruit Interact and the community to landscape and paint The Curtis Home, which is in disrepair to help the residents feel positive about their home for its Rotary Day of Service.

Meals for School Children

Milford Rotary will fundraise to support the supply and delivery of meals for those children with home food insecurity to ensure they have access to healthy and nourishing meals at school for its Rotary Day of Service.

Rock Garden & Bicentennial

Monroe Rotary will work with the Town of Monroe Parks and Recreation to enhance the Town Rock Garden and assist in supporting the upcoming Monroe Bicentennial Celebration for its Rotary Day of Service.

2023 Half Marathon & 10K

Mystic Rotary is seeking volunteers to support its 2023 Mystic Half Marathon and 10k on Sunday, May 21st as its Rotary Day of Service, which supports Mystic Rotary’s charitable contributions to the community.

Library Ice Cream Social

Naugatuck Rotary will coordinate and hold an Ice Cream Social for the community at the local Naugatuck Public Library to share the story of Rotary and promote Rotary membership for its Rotary Day of Service.

Camp Cedarcrest Cleanup

New Haven Rotary will work with the local community and manage a full spring cleanup of Camp Cedercrest to make it fully presentable for its members in New Haven as its Rotary Day of Service.

Kits for Kids

New London Rotary will assemble kits will with first aid, hygiene, and self-care products and present them to members of the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Greater New London for its Rotary Day of Service.

Niantic Giving Garden

Niantic Rotary and the East Lyme Interact will work together and plant potatoes and spread compost and manure to grow vegetables and fruit for Foodshare and families in need for its Rotary Day of Service.

Reopening Town Museum

North Branford Rotary will work with the Town of North Branford to clean up and clear debris for the reopening of the Gordon S. Miller Farm Museum to town residents for its Rotary Day of Service.

Cleanup River Valley Trail

Norwalk Rotary will beautify, clean up, and enhance the Norwalk River Valley Trail by clearing and landscaping the trail with new plants and shrubs throughout the Trail for its Rotary Day of Service.

Ending Food Insecurity

Norwich Rotary will help end food insecurity within New London County by packaging healthy and nourishing meals for families in need throughout our local communities as our Rotary Day of Service.

Shoreline Beach Cleanup

Old Saybrook Rotary and students from Old Saybrook schools will plan and coordinate the cleanup of more than six town beaches throughout Westbrook and Old Saybrook for its Rotary Day of Service.

Pancake Breakfast & Food Collection

Orange Rotary will prepare a hot, freshly cooked pancake breakfast for senior citizens of our town and collect food donations for the local food pantry for its Rotary Day of Service.

Fly the Flags Commemoration

Ridgefield Rotary will install more than 600 US Flags on the front yards of homes and businesses around the Town of Ridgefield in the weeks leading to Memorial Day and through Veterans Day for its Rotary Day of Service.
