Tackling Food Insecurity

Rotary of Brewster will be hosting a community wide Food Drive for its Rotary Day of Service project. The project will address the food insecurity effecting their local community through partnership with the local food banks.

Landscaping at George’s

Rotary of Carmel will be landscaping a garden at George’s Restaurant in Carmel for its Rotary Day of Service project. The garden project will be done in appreciation of George and Karen.

Historic Sign Restoration

Rotary of East Fishkill will be hosting a restoration project of historical signs in their community.  The club will re-paint 8 old historic signs located in East Fishkill for its Rotary Day of Service project.

Fishkill Creek Cleanup

Rotary of Fishkill will be hosting clean up day of the Fishkill Creek for its Rotary Day of Service project.  The estuary of the Hudson is important to keep clean so that debris doesn’t wash into the river. 

Landscape at American Legion

Rotary Club of Highland will host a project to landscape the Highland American Legion with mulch and flowers. The project will support the American Legion as it prepares for the upcoming Memorial Day ceremony.

Planting Curb Gardens

The Rotary Club of Hyde Park will be hosting a beautification project, planting flowering plants and trees in the town “curb gardens” for its Rotary Day of Service. The project will benefit the entire community.

Meals at Hope of a Mission

Rotary Club of Lagrange Sunrise will provide and serve a meal to homeless and addicted men and women of Poughkeepsie at Hope on a Mission to support the community for its Rotary Day of Service project.

Street Fair

Rotary Club of Lake Mahopac will be providing the labor to set up and dismantle the Chamber of Commerce community wide street fair located on Fair Street in Carmel, NY for its Rotary Day of Service project.

Wellness Fair & Blood Drive

Liberty, Livingston Manor, and Monticello Rotary Clubs will host an event that consists of a Community Blood Drive with a Wellness Event to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month as its Rotary Day of Service.

Library to Launch

Millbrook Rotary will partner with the Millbrook Library and establish a community refrigerator in the hub of the village, the public library to provide food with no questions asked to those in need.

Flags on Main

Rotary of Nanuet-West Nyack will be hosting a project to put up approximately 100 flags on Main Street in Nanuet for Armed Forces Day. The flag project pays tribute to the men and women serving in the US military.

Adopt a Highway Cleanup

Rotary Club of New Paltz will be doing their annual cleanup for the Adopting a Highway program to keep their community clean.  The section of road is Route 32 South, New Paltz for its Rotary Day of Service project.

Revitalization | Unity Center

Rotary of Greater Newburgh Rotary will be hosting a project to plant berry bushes and fruit trees at the Unity Center for its Rotary Day of Service project. The project will support & benefit the Newburgh Unity Center.

Little Library Installation

Rotary of Nyack will be installing a free little library in the village of Nyack for its Rotary Day of Service project. The project will support reading and literacy, encourage young and old to share books.

Historical Cemetary Cleanup

Rotary Club of Patterson will be hosting a project to assist the Patterson Historic Society to clean up a recently found historical cemetery along Route 311 in Patternson for its Rotary Day of Service.

Litter Pluck

Rotary of Pearl River along with the Pearl River High School Interact Club will be cleaning up litter and debris along Blue Hill Road which is a road they have adopted for its Rotary Day of Service project.

Simpson Park Revitalization

The Rotary of Phoenicia will be hosting a project to revitalize Simpson MiniPark in the hamlet of Phoenicia.  The project will support beautification in the community and benefit the whole town.

Spring Yard Sard

The Ramapo Valley Rotary Club will be holding its Yard Sale. The project will fund the purchase of tee shirts for the Sloatsburg Elementary School Olympic Day in June.

Lions Mini Park Revitalization

Rotary of Rhinebeck will be hosting a project to clean up and revitalize the mini park at the High School including re-establishing a pollinator garden  for its Rotary Day of Service.  

Language Experience

EClub in District 7210 will host an online English language experience for elementary school age children in Brazil. Rotarians from USA, Sweden, Turkey, Spain, Nigeria, Brazil, & India.

Community Revitalization! 

Rotary of Southern Ulster will host a community improvement day, including revitalization of carriage house at the  cemetery, Grange Hall, refurbishing the gardens at the Town Memorial Park, & public Library. 

Memorial Park Clean Up

Rotary Club of Spring Valley will host a park clean-up project at Memorial Park for its Rotary Day of Service project. The project will support Keep Rockland Beautiful and the community of Spring Valley.  

Roadside Clean up

Rotary Club of Walden will host a project to clean-up the roadside in the Town of Mongomery. The project will support the Town of Montgomery for greater appreciation within the community.

YMCA Summer Camp Prep

Rotary of Wallkill East will be hosting a revitalization and summer prep project for the YMCA. The project will support the YMCA and services they provide to the youth in our community.

Church Restoration Project

Rotary Club of Warwick Valley will be performing a restoration project consisting of scraping and painting the historic Union African Methodist Episcopalian Church (U.A.M.E.) Building of Forester Avenue.

Narcan Training

The Rotary Club of West Point-Highland Falls will be holding Narcan training for its Rotary Day of Service project. The training will increase awareness of opioid addiction and treating an overdose.
